Shoujo....The most beautifuly drawn catagory of the manga genre. This is my favorite style. And to draw it, you need giant spans of creativity. Soooo...Here's what Wikipedia has to say about it."The term *shoujo manga refers to manga marketed to a female audience roughly between the ages of 10 and 18. The name in Japanese litterally means "little girl". Shoujo covers many varietys of narrative and graphic story telling. From Historical Drama to Science Fiction often with a strong focus on human and romantic relationships and emotions.
Examples of Shoujo manga and anime are:

And the list goes on and on...If you want to read these, and more, go to OneManga.
One of my favorite Shoujo manga artists is Matsuri Hino.
Some drawing books on the subject can be found at these links.
How to Draw Shoujo - I have never read this one before, but it looks extremely good.
The Complete Idiots Guide to Drawing Manga- Shoujo Illustrated -One of the best out there. But probably not for beginning artists.
Manga for the Beginner - This one is by one of my favorite American authors: Chris Hart. Although this book doesn't focus on strictly Shoujo, it's still an awesome one for beginners.
Manga Mania- Magical Girls and Friends - My first shoujo drawing book. This book is the one and only amazing book that got me started on my style. I hope it works for you as amazingly as it did for me.
So...Please look into it. And we hope you like what you see.
Draw forever,
Artsy Foxy
(P.S. None of the pictures above were drawn by me. I found them on Photobucket.
